Helpful Info

Tan Preparation

  1. Exfoliate the day proir to your tan. Exfoliating is not necessary but will result in a better, longer lasting tan.
  2. Please schedule your tan appointment after getting a manicure or pedicure.  Any soaking or scrubbing after tan application can result in unevenness on hands and feet.
  3. Any waxing or eyebrow threading is recommended to be done earlier than a day before the spray tan session.
  4. Prepare dark loose clothes to wear after your appointment. Anything denim is not recommended.
  5. Make sure your body is free of make-up, oils, moisturizer, and deodorant.

During Your Tan

1. All the tan prep should be done before my arrival.

2. You can choose to wear your own underwear, a disposable thong (that I will bring), or nothing at all if you do not want ANY tan lines.

3. You want to keep your hair tied up through out the session.

4. You can choose any tan color, the colors range from just a healthy glow to body builder dark and everything in between.

5. You can ask me any questions or concerns you may have.

6. The session typically does not take any longer than 30 minutes (per person)

After Care

  1. Wait 8-12 hours before you take your first shower after your original spray tan treatment. Wait 2-5 hours after express tan treatment. It is very important not to get any water, lotion or liquid based makeup on your skin before the first shower. If gently applied powered makeup is okay.
  2. If you notice any creases, marks or areas where the tan has rubbed off. DO NOT PANIC! it is just the color guide. It will even out after your first shower.
  3. As the tan develops you may apear to get darker, that is not something to worry about, it's just the solution developing underneath the guide, once you shower off the guide is when you will see the actual color of the tan.
  4. Do not expose your skin to heavy sweating or working out while your airbrush tan is developing.
  5. Use soap very lightly during your showers. Do not use any scrub on your skin until you are ready to remove your tan.
  6. Please avoid waxing after the service, as it will result in taking your tan off.
  7. I strongly suggest moisturizing with oil free moisturizers after every shower to make your tan look better longer.
  8. Swimming and soaking in pools, hot tubs, and saltwater dry out your skin and shorten the life of your tan.
  9. I recommend using sunblock lotion when outside. The airbrush tan does not protect you from being able to sunburn.
  10. As long as your tan is cared for correctly, it should last between 5-10 days.
